5 Rookie Superstars Of The Year In F1 2023

1 years ago By Sports Desk

Hi, F1 fans all around the world, feel like you are getting bored!

And why not get bored? The wonderful 2023 F1 season ended recently, and there will be 4 months to get the new F1 season going.

But let’s just not get bored. Let us take you to our survey on the recently completed 2023 F1 season, where we will analyze every little detail of the season.

Today we look at five rookie superstars of the 2023 F1 season:

1. Oscar Piastri (Australia), McLaren

First and foremost on the list is the Aussie rookie, McLaren. Piastri has impressed everyone with his skills and talents in his very deserving season. He has also given wonderful performances on the track, with two podium finishes at the Japanese and Qatar GPs. He had also procured a sprint race win this season at the Qatar GP.

2. Liam Lawson (New Zealand), Alpha Tauri

The reserve Kiwi driver for Alpha Tauri and Red Bull made his debut with Alpha Tauri at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix after Alpha Tauri driver Danel Riccardo suffered an injury with a broken thumb during the practice session of that GP. Despite being very young and inexperienced, he kept his composure throughout the season, driving exceptionally and scoring his maiden F1 point at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix.

3. Logan Sargeant (USA), Williams

The American, Logan Sargeant, made his debut with Williams in the 2022 season. And in this season, he has remained with them.

Sargeant hasn’t exactly embarrassed himself in all races of the season, but his form has been up and down.

This season, the American was thrust into the second Williams position ahead of Nicholas Latifi, and although Sargeant made several mistakes in the beginning of the season, his pace has occasionally been competitive.

The fact that colleague Albon has been performing so well may not be lucky for him, but the knowledge he can gain from the former Red Bull driver—who saved Tsunoda’s career by mentoring the Japanese driver in his rookie campaign—will be priceless.

Like any rookie, Sargeant needs to become familiar with the nuances of the Pirelli tires used in Formula One.

4. Nyck De Vries(Netherlands),Alpha Tauri

After a terrible start to the year, De Vries was finally given his chance at Formula One with AlphaTauri, but it was taken away almost as soon.

Red Bull’s hierarchy was bypassed by Tsunoda, who left after scoring zero points in the first ten races, making several mistakes, and performing poorly compared to his teammate.

5. Zhou Guanyu,(China),Alpha Romeo

Although he is not a rookie, he is still a new face on the Formula 1 circuits.

After 2022, Alfa Romeo Team Principal Fred Vasseur again backed Zhou for the 2023 season, teaming him with former Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas. This will enable Zhou to fulfill his ambition of competing in Formula One and even to witness his performance against his own childhood hero, Fernando Alonso.
