2023 MotoGP Indian Grand Prix Expresses Confidence That “All Visas Will Be Processed On Time”

1 years ago By Sports Desk

In the heart of India’s bustling capital, New Delhi, a historic event is on the horizon—the inaugural MotoGP race at the Buddh International Circuit. As the excitement builds for this much-anticipated event on September 24, it has encountered an unexpected obstacle: visa processing delays for teams and riders. However, the organizers, Fairstreet Sports, are working tirelessly to ensure that “All Visas Will Be Processed On Time.”

MotoGP In India

The prospect of MotoGP coming to India has been a dream for many motorsport enthusiasts in the country. The Buddh International Circuit, nestled on the outskirts of Delhi, is ready to witness the roar of powerful bikes and the skills of world-class riders. Yet, as with any groundbreaking event, there are challenges to overcome.

Visa Problems

One of the major hurdles the organizers have faced is obtaining visas for the MotoGP teams and riders. Several teams, including the renowned factory Honda squad, and their star rider, Marc Marquez, found themselves in the unfortunate situation of having to reschedule their flights due to visa delays. However, the response from Fairstreet Sports has been nothing short of reassuring.

In a recent statement, Fairstreet Sports expressed its commitment to resolving the visa issues promptly. “We have been updting the current issue of delays in the visa issuance process,” the statement read. “We would like to share that we have been working relentlessly to resolve the same in the best possible manner.”

Work In Progress

The organizers have made substantial progress, with nearly 500 visas already cleared, and they are optimistic that more will follow suit soon. Their dedicated teams are sparing no effort to ensure that every rider, team member, and technical official receives their visa in a timely manner.
