Fast world auto racing is greeted with exciting news: The partnership between IndyCar, Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) and giant brewer Molson Coors has been extended for another few years. This extension comes with exciting agreements covering major events celebrating the collaboration that began in 1977.

Molson Coors will remain the official beer of IndyCar, the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard Weekend and the prestigious Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Additionally, the brand will sponsor Miller Lite Carb Day again; this day will kick off the race weekend with final practice for the Indianapolis 500 and a nationally renowned artist hosting the Miller Lite Carb Day Concert.

The highlight of this agreement is the expansion of Coors Light Snake Pit’s primary sponsorship. This event is a massive EDM concert held in Turn 3 during the Indianapolis 500. This expansion highlights Molson Coors’ commitment to increasing not only exciting racing but also unforgettable entertainment moments.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment, expressed his pleasure at this news, saying, “We are pleased that Molson Coors will continue this decade-long relationship with IndyCar. The momentum and growth of the NTT IndyCar Series is driven in part by valuable partnerships and events with iconic brands.” “It is due to

This partnership between IMS and Molson Coors began in 1977 when Miller Brewing Company sponsored the Indianapolis 500 Pit Stop Challenge for the first time. Miller High Life’s involvement in the Indianapolis 500 dates back to 1973; That year, they sponsored the car driven by Jim Hurtubise.

IMS President J. Douglas Boles shared his excitement at this news, highlighting Molson Coors’ importance to the Indianapolis 500 and other events held in the Racing Capital of the World. “As we build towards an exciting year of action on and off the track at IMS, there could not be a more wonderful partner to ensure these celebrations continue,” said Boles.

Molson Coors, a global leader in creating spirits for all life moments, is excited to once again extend its collaboration with IndyCar, IMS and the NTT IndyCar Series. “For nearly half a century, Miller Lite and Coors Light have helped us celebrate motorsports’ greatest memories on and off the track. We look forward to further strengthening this historic partnership in the years to come,” said Bill Averill, Vice President of Marketing Activation for Molson Coors.

This extension not only strengthens a long-term connection, but also underlines Molson Coors’ commitment to being an integral part of the exciting world of auto racing. The NTT IndyCar Series will be held on March 10 in St. Petersburg, presented by RP Funding. Starting with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, fans can get ready to celebrate more exciting moments and, of course, many years of a truly special partnership.
