8 months ago By Sports Desk

Saudi Arabia was the scene of another exciting chapter in the 2024 Formula 1 season as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen took his second win of the year to make it one-two for the team. The race also saw the impressive debut of Ferrari’s Oliver Berman and the intense moments of the second free practice session.

Max Verstappen once again proved his extraordinary ability to lead from start to finish to win Red Bull. The opening battle with Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez brought excitement from the start, with Perez eventually taking the second position. And Ferrari produced an outstanding performance with Oliver Berman, who finished seventh on his debut, giving the team valuable points.

The race was not short on strategic turns, especially after Lance Stroll crashed early in the race, which resulted in a safety car period. This led to a series of pit stops that shook up the teams’ strategy and caused intense moments of passing and defending.

In Free Practice 2, held under the beautiful spotlights of the Jeddah Cornish circuit, Fernando Alonso led the Aston Martin practice. The two-time champion faced several challenges, including Charles Leclerc, but managed to set the best time of the session.

Mercedes’ George Russell was second, while Bahrain Grand Prix winner Max Verstappen was third. The meeting was not without controversy, with Lewis Hamilton holding a post-meeting inquiry into the situation with Williams’ Logan Sargent.

The final result of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix highlighted the fierce competition between the teams, with Verstappen leading, followed by Perez and Leclerc. The consistency and impressive performances of some of the newcomers like Berman promise to add a fascinating element to the F1 scene this season.

The fans were treated to another exciting sight on the field and the 2024 season continues to bring surprises. With increasing rivalry and changing teams’ strategies, each race promises unforgettable moments. Formula 1 continues to attract global attention, and Saudi Arabia brought an exciting chapter in the history of elite motorsport.
