Max Verstappen’s victory in the tumultuous race has put him further ahead in the Formula One points standings. Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin clinched second place, while Sergio Perez, Verstappen’s teammate, lost a podium finish due to a pit-lane speeding penalty.

Pierre Gasly secured his first podium of the year, benefiting from Perez’s penalty-induced setback.
