Brad Binder Anticipates KTM Progress at COTA

10 months ago By Sports Desk

KTM factory team rider Brad Binder is hoping for another big push for the team at the COTA circuit this weekend. Having seen significant improvements at the American Grand Prix since 2022, Binder hopes KTM has taken another step forward.Binder’s season has had just one setback so far, a crash in the sprint race at Portimao after a tough qualifying session.

However, he recovered in the main race and finished fourth, just ahead of teammate Pedro Acosta. With two podiums in the season opener in Qatar, Binder’s start to the season was the best of his MotoGP career. However, like championship leader Jorge Martin, Binder’s COTA record in the premier class is not the best, which increases the pressure to perform well.”I’m really excited to start here again,”

Binder said. “This track is very special and has a little bit of everything. It’s important because it’s a long circuit, so I’ll try to get as many laps as possible, find a good rhythm and that’s my goal for the weekend.”Hoping to put the problems that plagued him at Portimao behind him, Binder is determined to build on the team’s progress this season.”We’re definitely in a good direction. I think our bike and the direction we’re going is going to be a lot better at this point compared to last season,” explained Binder. “For me, I want to take everything one step at a time and work hard.

“Binder also stressed the importance of paying attention to the finer details and continuing to work hard to improve team performance.”One thing I’ve focused on in the last three races, we’ve worked on the finer details. That’s my goal!”With a strong mindset and a team focused on improvement, Brad Binder is ready to take on the challenge at COTA and deliver another good result for KTM.
