The 2024 WorldSBK season has officially started with the introduction of the new liveries of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team. This event also included the unveiling of Ducati Lenovo Team’s Desmosedici GP machines in MotoGP.

Palacampiglio at Madonna di Campiglio was the stage for a presentation that will go down in history, as a venue affiliated with Audi through a strong and effective partnership that has lasted for 11 years. The leading actors of the traditional presentation were Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo MotoGP team and Aruba.it Racing – Ducati pilots Alvaro Bautista and Nicolò Bulega, who won in World Superbike and World Supersport respectively in the 2023 season. Of course, this extraordinary quartet was accompanied by Enea Bastianini from Ducati Lenovo Team.

The ceremony was followed with great enthusiasm by local officials, sponsors and guests. Additionally, the event was broadcast live on Aruba.it Racing’s social media accounts and could be watched on Sky Sport MotoGP. Afterwards, the pilots and team representatives prepared to receive the warm love of the fans in Piazza Sissi in Madonna di Campiglio to meet their favorites.

But for Alvaro Bautista and Nicolò Bulega, this time of celebration was short-lived. Aruba.it Racing – The Ducati team is rapidly preparing for the first private tests of the 2024 season. These tests will be held in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, on January 24 and 25, followed by two more days on the track in Portimão, Portugal, on January 29 and 30. These tests mark the start of the 2024 WorldSBK season, which will take place at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit from 23-25 February.

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team President Stefano Cecconi expressed his confidence in the 2024 season, which he thinks will be full of exciting challenges due to new regulations and increased competition. Cecconi emphasized the strong squad the team has formed with two world champions and stated that they will work with the same determination to achieve great results as a team.

Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, stated that it is a great pleasure to open another Ducati racing season at Madonna di Campiglio. Emphasizing Ducati’s commitment to maintaining its world leadership in racing, Domenicali drew attention to the brand’s ability to create systems and its ability to bring together its three official teams for the 2024 racing season.

Focusing on their success in 2023, Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna said that a team that won world championships in both World Superbike and World Supersport was proud to open the season with two world champions. He stated that they are excited to start the new Superbike season with the best squad.

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati’s pilot Alvaro Bautista stated that he was happy to return to Madonna di Campiglio with great satisfaction for the 2024 season. He stated that they had to adapt quickly to the new rules, but he still thought it would be an enjoyable season. Bautista also greeted his new teammate Nicolò Bulega and wished his team success, wishing the new sponsors a successful collaboration with a nice bike.

Aruba.it Racing – Ducati’s new rider Nicolò Bulega said that he was very proud to be able to attend this ceremony. Bulega stated that he followed the Ducati team promotions as a child and now being a part of this event makes him proud. Thanking the team for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to ride the Panigale V4R, Bulega joked that a beautiful motorcycle should also be fast and pointed out high expectations for the new season.

In summary, the official launch at Madonna di Campiglio not only offered an exciting look at Ducati’s new machines, but also highlighted the team spirit and determination, setting the team up for another exciting season.
