Marco Bezzecchi Reflects: ‘Two Challenging Weeks, Two Beautiful Tracks’

9 months ago By Sports Desk

VR46’s Marco Bezzecchi has had a busy and difficult few weeks in the last few MotoGP races. Bezzecchi had a difficult weekend at Le Mans in France after having his podium streak snapped following his win at the Indian Grand Prix last September. The Italian, who crashed late in both races, including second place in the sprint, is determined to translate his speed into concrete results at the next rounds in Barcelona and Mugello.

“We have two tough weeks ahead of us, but two very good ones,” Bezzecchi said. “The last sector in Barcelona is a unique set of curves. I can’t wait to go back to work. In France, we confirmed that we can keep up with the best, but we couldn’t confirm our performance in the race.”

Bezzecchi’s goal is clear: to remain among the strongest drivers since Friday’s practice. This goal is particularly important given the accidents that have hampered his performance at Le Mans. The ability to translate consistency and speed into results is essential to regaining championship positions and strengthening your presence in competitions.

As Bezzecchi prepares for the challenges of Barcelona and Mugello, teammate Fabio di Giannantonio puts in an excellent performance at Le Mans. Di Giannantonio scored VR46’s first sprint points of the season by finishing seventh on Saturday, crossing the finish line in both races and sixth in the main event.

“Certainly the aim is to continue to achieve positive results in these contrasting races at two of the most beautiful tracks of the season,” said Di Giannantonio. “The top five are getting closer and closer, and it’s definitely going to be an interesting weekend. The difference in Catalonia will be made by whoever manages tyre consumption better, and this is an aspect we have always worked well on so far.”

Di Cannantonio is currently 9th in the world championship standings, 11 points ahead of Bezechki. Friendly competition between VR46 teammates creates an extra inner competitiveness that pushes both to achieve better results.

Ahead of two of the most iconic tracks on the calendar, Bezzecchi and di Giannantonio will have a great opportunity to showcase their talent and strengthen their position in the championship. Tyre management and consistency during the first practice sessions will be key to success in the following races.

While Bezzecchi remembers the difficult weeks he experienced, his optimistic and determined spirit remains, ready to face the challenges of Barcelona and Mugello. Anticipation is high, and MotoGP fans are curious to see how these talented VR46ers will perform on the beautiful and demanding tracks that await them.
