Mark Your Calendars: 2024 IndyCar Season Broadcast Start Times Released”

9 months ago By Sports Desk

The 2024 IndyCar season will be an exciting experience for motorsports fans with the release of race broadcast times. The calendar promises a mix of night, evening and day races, keeping fans of this category on the edge of their seats.

One of the most anticipated additions is night racing at Iowa Speedway. Starting at 7 p.m., this will be IndyCar’s first night race in several years. Cars destroy the road under the lights, creating a spectacular sight for spectators and an added challenge for drivers. The excitement surrounding the new feature is palpable, especially among oval fans.

Two other events that promise to be exciting are the World Wide Technology Raceway and the Twilight Race at the Milwaukee Mile. Both start at 5pm locally, providing a unique and challenging environment for competitors. Notably, there are no artificial lights at the Milwaukee Mile, and the organization decided to finish the race at around 7:30 p.m., an hour before sunset, to avoid visibility problems during the final stages of the race.

The 2024 season begins March 10 at noon with the St. Pete Grand Prix. The $1 million challenge, which takes place at the end of the month, begins in the morning with a no-goal tournament, providing an increasingly dynamic and unpredictability.

The traditional Indianapolis 500 race begins at 11:00 a.m. and NBC will also air the final moments of the exciting qualifier on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on the network. These exciting moments before the main event add an extra layer of drama and anticipation for fans.

The season ends with the Nashville Superspeedway race, which is scheduled to begin at noon local time. This race is especially important after the recent announcement of the cancellation of the Downtown Nashville Street Race.

While a broadcast date for the April 28 race at Barber Motorsports Park has yet to be set, IndyCar and NBC are targeting the afternoon race at the event near Birmingham, Alabama. This flexibility underscores our ability to provide an enjoyable experience for our fans, taking account of time zones and audience preferences.

With a diverse race schedule and strategically selected dates, the 2024 IndyCar season promises to engage fans and deliver an exciting experience. Motorsports enthusiasts will be happy to mark these dates on their calendars so they don’t miss a single moment on the track.
