Mercedes Advised to Consider Sainz and Bearman for 2025

10 months ago By Sports Desk

With George Russell moving to Ferrari for the next Formula 1 season, the Mercedes team faces an important decision to fill the vacancy next to Russell in 2025. Several options are considered, and among them stand out. The names of Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman are offered by experts as ideal potential candidates for the German national team.

A good choice for Mercedes is Carlos Sainz, an experienced driver who has demonstrated his talent many times. The Spaniard is the only driver outside of Red Bull to have won Formula 1 and finished first at last year’s Singapore GP. In addition, Sainz added another victory to his list of achievements of the current season, triumphing at the Australian GP.

Another option under consideration is Oliver Bearman, a young talent who caught the eye with an impressive debut and scores at the Saudi Arabian GP. Despite currently racing for PREMA in the Formula 2 series, Bearman demonstrated his potential in Saudi Arabia and showed himself as a promising prospect for the future in Formula 1.

According to experts, Mercedes’ decision will be decisive for the future success of the team, and it is important that they carefully consider all available options. George Russell’s choice of teammate not only affects the team’s performance in races, but also affects the internal dynamics and chemistry between the drivers.

In addition to the choices of Sainz and Bearman, there are rumors about Sebastian Vettel’s possible return to Formula 1 with Mercedes. Four-time world champion Vettel confirmed he had discussions with team boss Toto Wolff, although not specifically about a team seat. The opportunity to have a driver with Vettel’s experience and prestige will certainly add a new dimension to the Mercedes team.

Meanwhile, George Russell continues to serve as Mercedes’ reserve driver, fueling speculation about his future in the first team. Although Russell is considered an exceptional talent, given his relatively young age, the team may decide to wait before bringing him to Formula 1.

As the season progresses and the 2025 date approaches, fans will be eagerly waiting to see who will be chosen to complete the Mercedes team for the series alongside George Russell. With exciting options such as Carlos Sainz and Oliver Bearman under consideration, the future of the German team promises to be full of excitement and potential.
