1 years ago By Sports Desk

After a brilliant end to both the F1 and MotoGP season, we come in to the December break.

For many of the F1 fans around the globe, it is a question of million dollars that why the F1 calendar doesn’t have any races on December?
Why does every season ends in December?

Here , in this article , we will discuss the reasons behind such activities and the calender planning of FIA for each F1 season.

1. Winter/Christmas Break-
As is common knowledge, Europe gave rise to Formula One and Motorsport, and the majority of races take place there or in other Western nations that uphold Christianity and Christian ideals. Thus the standard F1 season runs from March to December. And after December comes Christmas and winter break, when everyone takes time off to enjoy the celebrations with their families following a long and exhausting season. and renew yourself for a new season.

2. Cold,Cold Winters-

Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that the majority of races are found in Europe, Western countries, and certain other regions where severe winters descend after December and persist for the following three months.Extreme winter in that there is a lot of snow, extremely low temperatures, and black ice accumulates on the route. Thus, driving and racing are extremely risky under these conditions. Thus, the season is set in advance of that.

3. Logistical Planning And Effort-
Throughout the season, Formula One races are held in various locations all over the world. Moving all the supplies needed to set up races, construct team paddocks, construct cafeterias, etc., requires extreme and enormous work. Sea transportation is used to move even the Formula One cars. So much planning and execution are required for this amount of transportation. Therefore, they are all finished during this break.

These reasons are very valid. So Fans just stay put for this winter season.

Cause the New Season is coming soon.

The 2024 MotoGP Season-

The 76th season of the premier MotoGP championship will kicks of on 10th March, 2024 with the Qatar Grand Prix.

The 2024 Formula 1 session-

The 2024 Formula 1 session will consist of 24 races, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on  March 2. It is a long season, which features the return of the Chinese GP as well as the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
