10 months ago By Sports Desk

In an exciting start to the British Superbike season at Navarre, Yamaha achieved a commanding position on the front row of the grid with a one-two finish. The impressive performance of the team’s drivers has left fans in awe and promises exciting races at the Spanish circuit.

Team OMG Grilla riders Ryan Vickers and Kyle Ride took different approaches during the qualifying session, but both contributed to an impressive display for Yamaha. Vickers, despite finishing just 0.039 seconds behind the pole leader, expressed dissatisfaction with his lap, feeling he could have gone faster. He emphasized the importance of running a clean and consistent lap, avoiding mistakes that can hurt your performance.

On the other hand, Ryde, one of the favorites after his excellent form in pre-season testing, faced a nervous moment after being red flagged for a mechanical problem with another driver. The driver admitted that his heart rate increased dramatically, which affected his concentration before the flight lap. However, even under pressure, Ryde managed to maintain a front-row position, underlining his skill and determination.

The qualifying session was not without incident, with driver Leon Haslam suffering a crash and Tommy Bridwell suffering mechanical problems which brought out the red flag. These setbacks added an extra dose of tension and unpredictability to the competition, forcing drivers to stay calm and adapt to the circumstances.

Despite the adversity, the Yamaha riders showed skill and tenacity to maintain a privileged position on the starting grid. The team is determined to use this advantage to find success in the two races scheduled in Navarre. With renewed confidence and renewed determination, Vickers, Ryde and pole-sitter Danny Kent are ready to take on their rivals and offer fans an exciting on-track spectacle.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on the Yamaha team to see if they can maintain their dominance and achieve British Superbike glory. With a combination of talent, strategy and determination, drivers are ready to tackle any challenge that comes their way and strive for success on the racetracks.

British Superbikes at Navarre promises to be an exciting battle and Yamaha is ready to lead the pack and go for the win. The fans are ready for a race full of adrenaline and excitement as the drivers prepare to show their talent and determination on the track.
